Company ProfileWe know that there is competition in our business. We are here to provide customized, personal service that is often missing at other large, multimillion dollar companies that we compete with. Our company profits from sales of our products and services only; we are not owned by a pest control/pest management service company and do not perform any commercial services. Environmental Chemical Co., Inc. was incorporated on February 2, 1981. It was founded by Steven Weiss. Barry Eldridge, the current owner of the company, joined as a sales representative on November 16, 1981. Barry Eldridge later became Manager. On November 5, 1997, Steven Weiss passed away leaving a significant share of the Corporation to Barry Eldridge. Following a corporate buyout, Barry became CEO and President of Environmental Chemical Co., Inc.. Our first store was located in Spring Valley, NY in a "strip mall". Today, Environmental Chemical Co., Inc. and The Bug Clinic, our retail affiliate, operate from our facility in Spring Valley (full information below) where we maintain a small office and warehouse space. Environmental Chemical Co., Inc. has several alliances with the professional community. We support Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockland County. We are also members of two local industry groups: The Professional Certified Applicators Association of Rockland County (PCAA) and the Professional Landscape Association of Rockland County (PLARC).
